Education and Training:

I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, who specializes in psychotherapy for teens and their families. After receiving my masters in Marriage and Family therapy from USC, I received my clinical training at the Maple Counseling Center where I participated in the Adolescent and Children Training Program. This opportunity provided me experience working in with teens in group therapy as well as experience working within schools in the LA area. Since licensure, I have deepened by training through the Violet Oaklander Foundation, The Center for Reflective Communities, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and various forms of continued education. Through my work as a school counselor, I have a unique perspective on the individualized needs and culture of school-aged students.

Clinical Approach:

Whether working with families or individuals, I prefer to work collaboratively with clients from a person centered perspective to tailor the treatment based on their needs and goals. In addition, much of my work includes consulting with physicians and schools to better support each client and his/her needs. I have experience in the treatment of a wide variety of issues, some of which include, depression, anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, parent/child relationship, sense of self, identity development, and social skill development.
